The brief

Speed and clarity. No compromises.

Tybrite POS needed a product design and frontend that could handle high transaction volumes in noisy, fast-moving retail environments. Speed and clarity were non-negotiable — the system had to perform at the counter, not just on a demo screen.

The challenge was density. A retail POS needs to surface a large amount of information — inventory, pricing, transaction history, customer data — without overwhelming the operator or slowing down the queue. Every design decision had to serve the person at the till.

The result is a UI that prioritises the most common actions, reduces taps to complete a transaction, and maintains legibility under fluorescent lighting, on low-resolution screens, and in high-pressure situations. New staff need almost no training. That's the real benchmark.
